Setting Event Codes

To change the settings on individual events directly from within your external calendar (Google, Yahoo, etc), you can use event codes. The table below shows the codes available.

To use a code simply embed it in the summary or description text of the event in the calendar.

Example: To set the number of spaces available for a specific event use #spaces:20

Code Option Description
#include If the default is to not show all events then #include will include it.
#exclude If the default is to show all events then #exclude will exclude it.
#spaces number Set the total number of spaces available for the event. eg. #spaces:6
Bookings already made will count towards the total.
Use #spaces to specify no limit - ie. don't put a number.
#charge amount The amount required to book an event. eg. #charge:19.95
Put an amount of zero if no payment is required.
The currency used will be your default.
#slots minutes Split the event into slots with the #slots code. eg. #slots:60 for hourly slots.

Notes:

  • Any embedded codes will be hidden in the descriptive text on the booking screen.
  • Always include the hash (#).
  • Don't leave any spaces between the code and the option (if there is one).
  • Use a colon (:) to separate the code and the option.
