Booking and Attendance Statuses explained

This article explains each of the different Statuses for Bookings and Attendances.

A booking can have one or more attendance. The booking status is determined from the statuses of the attendances on that booking.

Attendance Statuses are:

  • Reserved: The booking is confirmed and the payment is complete (if required). However, the attendee has a grace time period for confirming or paying where the attendance will also be treated as reserved.
  • Unreserved: The attendance is not reserved (according to the rules above)
  • Lost out: The attendance was not reserved and the event/slot is now fully booked.
  • Cancelled: The whole booking has been cancelled.

Booking Statuses are:

  • Complete: All attendances on the booking are currently reserved.
  • Unconfirmed: The initial email on the booking has not been confirmed. It is possible for the admin to manually confirm the booking but note that the attendee's email will not have been confirmed and therefore will not be included in bulk emails.
  • Not paid: One or more attendees are not fully paid for (if a payment is required).
  • Cancelled: The whole booking has been manually cancelled.

Please note that the reserved and complete statuses include any unconfirmed bookings that are in the (15 min) grace confirmation period, and attendances that are not paid but are in the (30 min) grace payment period (if a payment is required).
