Booking process

The booking process requires:

  • an email confirmation (if the booker is not already logged in) and
  • an online payment (if the event/slot is marked as requiring one)

The current status of the booking is indicated in the box in the top left of the booking page.

When a booking is made by someone who is not logged in then the first status is unconfirmed:

unconfirmed

If the 15 min time limit runs out then the status changes to unreserved:

unreserved

Once the attendee's email has been confirmed then the booking will be complete:

complete

Unless a payment is mandatory, in which case the status will be unpaid:
If the time limit for paying has expired then the status box will include a massage to say that the place is not reserved.

unpaid

If a booking is cancelled then the status box will be:

cancelled

And in the unfortunate case where a booking has not been reserved due to not confirming or paying then the places on the booking will be lostout:

unconfirmed lostout

or

unpaid lostout

(It is possible for a booking to contain some reserved and some unreserved places if only some are paid.)
