Remove Paypal option and adding more payment info
Hi,
Really please with your product. We are hoping to upgrade from our free account soon.
Can you tell me how to remove the paypal option when customers confirm their booking and replace it with other information regarding their payment options please? We would like to tell them to send a cheque or pay on the day by cash.
I would strongly support the addition of google payments too.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Alex. I will enhance that part of the system for the next update.
Google payments are planned but will come a bit later.
The next update is planned for the 1st Dec. I'll update this thread to
let you know when it's done.
Thanks for the support for the product. It's still early days so
things can only get better...

Great, yes please let me know.
The great thing with bookwhen as far as I am concerned is the simplicity of use, but yes there are a few things that will be great additions.
Best wishes,
Alex

It would be great if you could mark a customer as 'paid' either by cash or card or other alternative methods!

The next update will include further improvements to the payments aspect of the system. This includes the ability to offer alternative payment instructions and to mark client bookings as having been paid by other means. The changes should be ready by the first week of Feb.

Will it also be possible for the admin to create an entire booking on behalf of someone else, rather than just mark a booking as paid by other means?
Thanks,
David

Hi David. It is currently possible for the admin to make a booking for someone else. When you are logged in, you can simply enter a new booking as if you were them. The email field can be left blank, but then you will have to manually confirm the booking using the link under the 'Options' tab.
Note to other people watching this thread: The other updates to payments are coming soon.

I agree - to be able to mark a client as paid by either cash, card or cheque would be really helpful!
