Emailing Participants
Hi,
I know that on the pro package it says that the option of emailing participants is coming soon. Do you have a timescale on this? Will it be done though a mailing list package such as mailchimp or constant contact or will it be direct through book when?

The development work hasn't been started on the mailing feature yet,
so perhaps 'soon' is a bit optimistic. I wouldn't expect anything
before January. Sorry if that was misleading.
The plan is to have it integrated into the system, and to keep it very
simple. ie Select a list of people, compose a mail (allowing for
merging of various info), and then send. The purpose is to provide a
convenient way of sending messages to event participants.
For full mailing list functionality, I suggest that you also use
MailChimp or Constant Contact. Both are great tools and we couldn't
possible manage to improve on their service. Bookings is our focus.
Down the line we hope to be able to integrate better with services
such as theirs, but for now, the simple integrated mailing comes
first.

Hi again.
Development on the system has just gone into a new phase of major updates. This feature is high on the list of priorities so will hopefully come around before too long. Thanks for giving it a push.
Estimates are tricky, but I'd hope it to be done by mid March. With luck, sooner.
