Immediate Payment
Hello!
We have just started to trial book when as an option for our dance school to help make class bookings easier. Is there any function where we can force clients to pay online immediately, or they will lose their space on a course? similar to the way they need to confirm their booking using the email confirmation within 15 minutes?

Hi. Thanks for trying the system.
Payments are not currently enforced and there is no option to do so.
We intend to add the option before too long though. The way it works
at the moment lends itself to more flexibility, allowing for a mix of
online and offline payments.
As a work-around, you could state that the payment is mandatory and
then cancel any bookings that have not been paid.

Hi Kate,
It's long overdue, but there is now an option to make payments enforced on your events. There's also an option to add some descriptive text that will appear alongside the payment button.
The mandatory payment option is set on each event (default to not mandatory) on the spaces tab page when you're editing it. The additional info text is in the settings section (http://bookwhen.com/settings under payments) and will only be shown when the payment is not mandatory.
The ability to mark bookings as paid is on its way...
A lot of work has been done behind the scenes for this update so please let us know if you discover anything amiss.
