We had an attendee pay €50 by PayPal which we received OK. His account is in AUD so he was debited AUD$70.

BookWhen showed us that he had only paid €35. Did BookWhen get the €50 notification and the AUD notification and then convert "AUD50" into €35?

The booking ref: hn2gf

I've had a good look into this issue and the currency conversion is a red herring. It seems that there is a problem (caused by an edge case) so I'll get that fixed asap. Sorry about that. The details are outlined below so you know what happened.

It was caused by a cancelled attendance (ticket) on the booking. Bookwhen in the background does payment allocations across the tickets on a booking. On this booking, there were 3 tickets; €25, €15, €25 - but the €15 was cancelled before the payment (which you can't see). The payment of €50 then came in (to cover the two €25s), but got allocated to €25, €15 (incorrectly), and €10 (of the €25) ticket. This left €15 outstanding, which you then cleared by posting the cash payment.
