Google Map Want to remove or make work
In the location section of an event booking I want to detail
address and other URLs detailing parking and travel options. The
problem is the site takes these URLs together with address
information and concaternates this and puts it into a google maps
search which means the search fails. Not good. Please can someone
explain how to stop this or remove the google maps
capabiltiy.

The plan is to have a separate locations setup section which can then be linked to an event. The location text will then be for a freeform description as you're currently using it.
In the meantime, I will remove the link. It doesn't link correctly for most people anyway, but you were the first to complain. The change will go out in the planned update tonight.
Also, the formatting of the text will be switched to use Markdown so you can include your own link to google maps if you like too.
To include a link in the text use this format:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=theaddress
ps The CSS styling is in the pipeline.

This is very useful and helpful.
I really think your site /service is great and I will be signing up. If at
some point you want an angel investor in your business please let me know as
I think there is a huge market for this capability
