Hi,

Is there any way a customer can select event's by a week or month instead of going right down to the bottom of the list and clicking more...

A neat thing would be a search bar up the top of the event page also.

Kind regards,
Zack

    Hi Zack,
The schedule 'widget' is in the middle of a bit of an overhaul. Expect big speed and functionality improvements. It should be live by next week...

    Hi Joe,

Do you have any plans to support multiple locations and more customised time
    and date schedules.

The new schedule widget is very similar to the old one but is a lot faster, allows quick change of date.

With regards to locations: The plan is in due course to have a separate list of locations setup section (with maps) in the admin area. Then the desired location can then be assigned to an event. The schedule wasn't going to be filterable by location, but I can see from your page how that might be useful. I'll keep it in mind.

Another thing I have considered (which might help with your splitting into locations problem) is the ability to assign tags to events which can then be used to quickly filter the events in the schedule. How does that sound?

Can you elaborate on 'more customised time and date schedules'? Do you mean when creating an event?

I do like the tagging idea a lot.

In regards to customised times and dates being more flexible... We have some
services that run all week that month but miss a week next month etc. so just
an easier all in one solution so we won't have to keep adding the same trip.
Maybe a calander where you can hover over dates and enter times in a list?

The tagging idea get's an extra tick then. However, it's not on the immediate todo list so don't hold your breath! I think it would make a good addition to the flexibility of the product which is what I'm after.

The idea of selecting dates for the event is a great idea! It's something I'd considered a while ago but since forgotten about. Again though, I have some more urgent things to get done first, but it's now on the todo list.

Just noticed something, on the booking page (customer view) it says:
You can leave their email blank, but remember that they won't receive any notifications to do with the booking or event.

    Shouldn’t it say this:
You can leave your email blank, but remember that you won't receive any notifications to do with the booking or event.

Also, is there any way to link a booking button to a single event with a list of dates and times?

Hi Zack. Yet another great idea. Thanks.

Each event (unique to its schedule) has a code. eg '5r3' in this case:
    https://bookwhen.com/pchwu/201006051500/5r3

I will make it so that http://bookwhen.com/example?event=5r3 (for example) will show the schedule page filtered down on the given event.

And re the [their/your] email query. How it is is correct. It only shows this message when you are logged in as the administrator. So the 'their' is referring to the email of the customer that you are making the booking on behalf of. If you logout and try to make a booking then you'll see how it works from a client's perspective. (Or make a test booking on the example page (http://bookwhen.com/example).

You filter the schedule list by adding ?event=xyz to the end of the URL. The code 'xyz' you will have to get by looking at the URL for the event. It's always 3 alphanumerics long.

eg To filter the (public or admin) schedule to only show specific events use:
    https://bookwhen.com/example?event=5r3

In due course, the ability to tag events will make this even more flexible still.
