Lunch!
Nice service - thanks.
We have set up an event with 75 minute slots but that leaves no lunch break! I guess we could book a slot at our own event to give us time to eat - is there an easier way of doing this or have you just not allowed for it yet?

Good question.
The quick answer is that you can accomplish what you want by creating two events - one for the morning slots and one for the afternoon slots. At some point, it will be possible to exclude periods or days from repeating or split events but until then, this is the only way.
It's also worth pointing out that the schedule list that shows your available slots is not at the moment particularly well suited to slot booking (like you're doing). However, it's currently in the middle of being redeveloped which will make it a lot more useable and faster.
Good luck with the bookings and don't hesitate if you have any further queries.

Is there a better way of doing this within the application?

The schedule list is fixed in the way it works at the moment, but it's currently getting an overhaul. The new version should be live in about a week. The new version is more adapted to deal with the flexible nature of the system. ie. Bookings on anything from one-off events to time-slots during multiple days.
The current version works as described here:
